An art-fair stand
for a make believe gallery or institution claiming to operate in Oslo, Berlin
and Dar-Es-Salaam, made of 4 large-size stretched canvases and a number of
odd-looking sculptural works - in addition to a handmade chair (the dealer
seems to be out) and a handwritten note informing of the opening hours (which
are the business standard 9-5). A large dollar sign is inscribed on one of the
sculptures; the mark of hard fact existence and communication in the (art-)
world economy. But that global race is apparently not without a certain humour:
Positioned on top of the stand a sculptural sign reads: Run Baby Run, and inside its double replies: Fun Baby Fun!
